Ranran Farm Corporation
Ranran Farm, the agricultural production corporation that manages the Tokachi Millennium Forest, is involved in reforestation as well as farming
Our objectives are to conserve and maintain natural forests as habitat for a variety of animals and plants, and restore Tokachi’s forests to their original states by planting native trees. We also create opportunities for ecology education in which people can learn from the rich natural environment of the Forest.
We also provide people in general with opportunities to deepen their understating of agriculture. Our goal is to develop a new local culture through agriculture. For that purpose we develop new healthy agricultural products of high value, and offer dishes made from locally produced agricultural products.
We believe the most important thing is to, through activities in the Tokachi Millennium Forest, think about the area where we live and the global environment, and present a new sense of values. We cherish this forest and will pass it on to future generations, one thousand years from now.
